TG MARKETING 

Initially when I went to college, like most kids I had no idea what I wanted to study. About a year in, I figured I couldn't go wrong with a business degree, so I picked marketing. I quickly realized that marketing is essential for a business to be succesful and I become fixated on how to achieve that. I found it fascinating to learn how businesses present their product or service to customers and why they do it in a specific way.

 

While studying marketing, I took a class that helped me gain perspective on why marketing through social media was so crucial for business to stay relevant in today's world. Social Media is a tool that can make or break a business. When businesses quickly realized that they can utilize a platform where millions (eventually billions) of people migrate to every day, social media marketing changed the game.

 

While in school I wanted to obtain an inside perspective on social media marketing, so I launched my own Facebook page showcasing my drumming, Tyler G Drumming. Launching that facebook page was one of the best decisions I've ever made; not only for my drumming career, but also my marketing career. I've generated over a thousand likes and tens of thousands video views.

 

The most important aspect of Social Media marketing i've learned in doing this is people want to feel like they're apart of a brand. When I say that, I mean the content you produce should not only showcase your own product and interests, but interests of your followers. Brand love is a real thing, and I feel like I have a decent understanding in the aspect of marketing to produce results for businesses via social media.
